For an INSIDE THE WINDOW FRAME MOUNT, give us the exact measurement of the opening (include the window itself and frame what you need to cover)to the 1/8th inch and WE will take a 3/8 inch deduction off the exact measurement given so that the shade will fit you window perfectly. You need at least 1-3/8 inch of depth at the top of the window for an inside mount.
For an OUTSIDE ,we suggest to make the shade 2-4 inches wider and longer than window and frame size, so that the shade could fully cover the window and frame together.
